Stephen started photography at the very young age of 14. He went on to study it professionally in England, returning to established himself as the youngest photographer in Malta with his own photographic studio and film laboratory.

Over the years, Stephen is assigned to cover most of the important events on the Maltese islands, from the visit of Popes, Royalty and VIPs to Malta's EU entry, Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings (CHOGM), Summits and many other National and notable events.

With the major leap into digital, Stephen was the first photographer in Malta who switched completely to digital photography in 2000. He shared his knowledge and was given the MIPP Award of Recognition for the Advancement of Photography. He owns a piece of equipment for every kind of photography assignment he’s requested to do.

Stephen also does private events like engagements, weddings, baptisms, parties, conferences, and photo sessions.

Giving various lectures on photography in Malta and abroad, he himself went on to further his knowledge and skills. Today, he is also a Teacher of Photography within the Directorate of Lifelong Learning, under the Ministry of Education, achieving an MQF Level 5 National Diploma in Teaching Adults.

He is accredited with four Fellowships in photography from different institutes, including Qualified Italian Photographer (QIP) and also has a myriad of other accreditations.

He worked for the Times of Malta, won awards and published a book to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the Malta Police Force, yet, his greatest professional achievement remains being highly trusted and respected by colleagues and clients.

This is evident by the celebration of his 25th anniversary working to serve both his industry and his clients, many of whom have been with him since their birth to the birth of their children.

Stephen looks forward to working with you again, soon.
